Glad you found it. The set up for the switch is pretty simple. there really are only the 2 things that it could have been, and you replaced the switch, leaving the clock spring.

I had this same exact issue happen to me years ago. The dealer replaced the ignition key cylinder under a customer satisfaction campaign and they messed up the BCM in the process.

My turn signals are not cancelling again. I suspect the plastic disk on the back of the clock spring has popped off again but I need to confirm. I thought I had snapped it back on completely but the short duration of the repair has me wondering if I didn't or if I broke off something that ensures that it stays in place over time. I hate to replace the clock spring just because of this issue but it may be my only recourse.
