Is the fitment the same through-out, like 05-07 parts all fit 08? Other than a few interior and body specifics? Looking through the ebay and trying to find 08 parts amongst all the 05-07 parts is a headache.
You have a Sport? So it's a 2.4l correct? You will be able to use the same intake systems as the 05-07's...nothing really changed between them (nothing that matters for fitment anyway). And as stated above 2.2 and 2.4 intakes interchange for the most part (you probably don't want the 2.2 K&N, but you can use it...it just has an extra thing on there for the 2.2's with SAI).
AEM, Fujita, Injen, K&N, GMPP are the options I can think of. Then there are the ebay intakes. I don't know how well I trust those. I know there is one that the 2.2l guys used from ebay and it actually was a pretty good intake for about $100. It was from some company called JDM "something or other"...don't remember the full name.
so me and a buddy are trying to build his 06 chevy cobalt ls we are looking into all options. we live in new york and im wondering if there is a way to swap the ecm from a 07 chevy cobalt ls to a 06 chevy cobalt ls and still get it to pass ny state inspection
I have a 07 cobalt Ls 2.2, I heard a read a lot of negative thing that people have to say about modifying those cars and say it’s pointless!. How and why would it be pointless for modifying a car you own and what to look, sound and perform outstanding and have something unique that you can say...
I am buying my first chevy cobalt. Its nothing special like the ss. Sadly its the LT for now.. i am wondering if i do a muffler delete or just straight pipe the exhaust if i will get a really nice sound as well as some crackles (pops, backfire) without it sounding stupid. And yes i know backfires...
Thinking about purchasing an LSD and f35 transmission. I plan on upgrading from my current f23 transmission I got from a junkyard. Any suggestions on LSD's as far as brands go? I just looked at a site called Traction Concepts, any good?
