Title.

Basically my passenger side front seat has a busted forward-back adjustment bar. Is it possible to replace JUST the seat rail itself?

I have a donor/junkyard passenger seat sitting in my living room

The broken part is the black bar specifically, the forward-back mechanism of the seat rail still works (I was able to finnegle it to come forward with 2 pry bars)

In my case, the seat-rail adjustment bar isn't even there... I'm guessing the previous owner really manhandled it "like the Hulk" or pulled too hard on it, snapping it off 🙄

If I could replace JUST the bar itself, that would be perfect

Also, how many connectors are there exactly under the front passenger seat? 1 or 2? I notice there's only 1 connector under the driver's side front seat, just want to be safe before I take things apart

You can swap the lower, you can swap the seat foams and covers but the rail assembly IIRC is welded and folded as a single piece of the seat lower section. If you have a spare seat, keep the good seat lower and move your seat back, covers and foam of your choice.
By the way, once you remove the seat covers would be an excellent time to get a good overdue cleaning. BTW the passenger side seat foam back make an excellent Drivers side bolster repair.
Since the drivers side, outside seat bolster is a high wear area while the passenger side inside seat bolster is hardly used.

enjoy

PS make certain you keep the seat sensor parts matched to your car.
You will find a connector for the seat occupancy sensor and a connector for the seat belt.. the car needs to know if someone is sitting in the seat AND that the seat belt is latched…..2 different switches!
