Leaky Transmission Pan Gasket

So, I'm on vacation this week and decided to tackle some maintenance. Everything was successful, except for the tranny (it's an automatic). I got the transmission drained, mating surfaces cleaned, gasket cleaned and put her all back together. However, the pan leaks like a sieve along the entire back.

I've disassembled and reassembled twice now. Gasket is aligned perfectly, hand tightened all bolts to finger tight, and torqued to 89 in lbs in a criss-cross pattern. Son of a gun still leaks. I've read that the gasket is reusable, and by all accounts it's not ripped up. Anyone else have trouble doing this job?

After a little more Google time, I am beginning to think the pan bolt holes are dimpled from a previous tech over-torquing. In fact, I did notice that yesterday but assumed it was normal, to a degree. Seems a lot of people had the same issue and needed t lightly tap out the inversions. I will repost with an update for anyone who's interested.
