Hey all I've been on the forum before when I had a 2006 Cobalt LS. I am now looking at a 2008 Cobalt Sport with almost 58000 miles on it and was looking for advice, is $6133 a fair asking price? I'll include pics, thanks for your time.

In my opinion, if it's in decent condition, that's a fair price. If I remember right, that one is the NA engine? If you're anything like me or the other guys, you might be itching to add boost, so factor in another $2500 for a kit, lol

If you're going to buy a 2.4 to boost, best you find a 2006 model year. The internals were much stronger and their threshold for power is greater. The next few years they cut costs and cheapened engine parts quality, rendering them more fragile. At least that's what I've been told. I'd guess the later years wouldn't hold up to boost any better then your average 2.2 (~240whp before you throw a rod or something)
