i currently have an 08' LS .. i'm a noob when it comes to cars so i need some help im lookin to lower my car i herd that k&g i believe r a good brand .. but im not sure anyone wanna giv me a hand ? thanks
Never heard of K&G. I have B&G springs on SS/TC shocks and struts. Love the setup even though it's super stiff for the crappy roads we have here.
Pretty sure the B&G's are the lowest you can go in terms of springs unless you go coilover. I like the drop, but on coupes, the B&G's are a tad higher in the front and it bothered me enough to slightly modify the front springs to go lower in front. Now sits pretty even and I like
you can get fe5 for cheaper than that.... or at least i did. the struts as a pair are about 170 and then the shocks are about 90 for the pair. ksports i've heard aren't bad, i have dropzones which are virtually the same spring i believe for the same price
so i need shocks & struts & springs ?? k&g r ok but i do have the LS coupe & thats why i wanna lower my car cuz its so high up and it looks dumb lol fe5 struts $200 fe3 shocks nd k&g springs for like $150 sounds good thanks guys good look

Hello all, not a mechanic here but looking to diagnose a problem. Once I reach speeds of 55+ my cobalt likes to swerve side to side. It occurs mostly on straight aways but when I am in a curve it handles just fine. No shaking in my steering wheel or steering column. I was told it was my driver...
I have a 2010 Cobalt LT with the 4 lug hubs, I want the get the SS wheels but those are 5 lug. How hard would it be to covert my 4 lug to a 5 lug setup? Is it as easy as buying the 5 lug hubs and installing them?
I have a 2010 Chevy cobalt lt, I love the car but recently it started to vibrate in the steering wheel at around 80 km/h (50 mph) and stop at 110 km/h (70mph) after about 10 minute or so of driving. So I’ve went and got my tires balanced but it didn’t do anything all the suspension parts are new...
Last time I had my car on the lift for an oil change I noticed the rear shocks have been leaking. Apparently they weren’t completely blown, but were getting there. In the past year I had gotten used to it. But it was noticeable at highway speeds that if I went over a dip the car felt a little...
What’s up everybody,
I have brand new B&G Lowering Springs for 05-09 Cobalt for sale. Never taken out of the box, brand new. I sold my cobalt a few years back and never got the chance to put them on. They have been collecting dust ever since. Make me a reasonable offer, need them gone.
