Hello All,

My wife 2005 Cobalt LT needs a new alternator. So I'm taking it down to a trusted shop. I'm buying the alternator (AC Delco) and a new belt to take the shop (I've done this before with the owner). What other things should I be looking at to be replaces while the car is at the shop? Timing chain? water pump? etc?

It's got 90,000 and runs very well, once I replaced twice the cracked spark plugs.

Thanks

Maybe an oil change and tire rotation. Might be time enough to get your antifreeze changed as well
