Has anyone installed or have the Moog Struts? Rock Auto has them. Part numbers MOOG ST8597L & MOOG ST8597R.
I searched the forum, but didn't find much.
Would like to hear some reviews.

TIA,
Dave

I don't remember if it's Moog or Monroe, but one of those brands tends to blow out very quickly (less than a year), and are totally not worth it.

Really, the ACDelcos are affordable enough that it's worth getting OEM struts.

@MP81 do you remember offhand which brand of struts sucks?

The Monroes on the Cobalt are known to fail very quickly. Monroe is aware, and will replace them for free without issue, but it would get annoying to replace your struts on a yearly (or more often) basis.

I haven't heard about any issues with the Moogs.

I agree with @Parthros, I'd get the Delcos.

Cool, Monroe. Maybe I'll actually remember this time, haha

Weird when I mentioned you in my post, it doesn't show the link to your profile for me...

If you go that route, don't forget to get the FE5 springs or lowering springs as well. FE1 springs don't cope well with FE5 dampers.
