My car never ceases to surprise me. This week's surprise is a new sound she started making under throttle, sounds something like air escaping a vacuum with a slight tick thrown in for good measure. There's no code but I do feel a little bit short changed on power. The car was normal all day Thursday, but after spending a night in the rain, I'm getting this new noise. My best guess revolves around a gasket issue. I know I didn't give you guys much to work with, but can anyone come up with a better diagnosis? I hope it's not a timing issue... Thanks.

Just realized I posted this in the wrong forum. Problems & Service? On a Cobalt? I would have never guessed.
