OK guys I really need your help with this one. I can't seem to get the connectors released from the back end of the fuse panel under the hood. On my car there are two large wires at the back left side, one is for the electric steering and is red and the other is orange but I don't know what that one is for and does not matter. The steering red one has a white connector and the orange one has a green connector. Both connectors have a blue insert in them that supposedly you are supposed to "depress" (you can't depress them even a 32nd of an inch) them to get them out??? I have tried everything but they won't give, could somebody explain to me how to get them out?

BTW I installed a new steering column to the tune of $325 and nothing changed, so much for the dealer "diagnostic" that was the problem and them wanting $900 to do the same job!

I am now changing out the under hood fuse panel/box as these cars have had problems with these when they got wet and looks like this one got real wet, probably someone steam cleaned it!

Please help with the above connector issue if you know how, don't know why i can't post any pics here?

Here is a link to a pic of the connectors http://home.earthlink.net/~genestoy/connectors.jpg
