so from all you guys may know in my previous thread i said i was getting new rims.
i ordered 18 inch R1 Drift in gloss Black on April 26th. i called 10 mins previouse to ordering and they said they had 1 set left. so i placed my order blah blah and i waited and they said it was processing. i called after 4 days asking if they shipped and they said the warehouse for r1 shipped the 4 wheels to the wheelsnext location in flordia instead of the california location which was a town or 2 away. so that took another week. now were going into the 1st week of may. they finaly got the wheels on the 2nd week of may and they shipped out on may 11th. i got 2 rims on may 14th. i ordered gloss black. i opened the 1st wheel it was gloss. i opened the 2nd box and it was a hyper black wheel. thing is the box was listed under gloss black. i was PISSSED so i emailed the guy im like dude we have a problem. told him i got the wrong rim in the correct box. so he schedualed a pickup thru fedex to get the rim picked up. the other 2 rims came the 17th and they were fine. fedex finally picked the rim up on the 19th after confusion on the 18th. wheels next got the rim on the 26th. and they said they were shipping the new rim out on thurs or fri the latest. i got a call on friday and the guy confirmed that i didnt have the mass lip i was like nope i have the 45 mm lip and he was like okay we will ship today. i got another call 30 mins later and the guy wanted a pic of the lips because he said the warehouse sent me 2 mass lip and all my boxes could have been marked wrong i was like they deff didnt blah blah. so i sent him a pic of the lips and he was like ok they were wrong u dont have mass lip. and he said he checked the inventory and they have 3 gloss black 45mm lip in stock and will ship tuesday i believe since mon fed ex is closed i think.. he said worst case senerio is that if when he visually checks and if they dont have anymore gloss black that they will have to get a hyper black rim profesionaly painted.

it has been a full month since i ordered and im just so pissed.
never ordering from them AGAIN they wont ship the rim any quicker because they said it cost so much.

update will come tomorrow when i call these bastards

Until you are in this business..You will never understand. I know it sucks waiting but sometimes you just gotta. Things happen, No business will be perfect. Be thankful they are emailing you back and staying in contact. Some companys/vendors do not. I sometimes mess up my orders, Very rarely...:p but it does happen.

yeah i know

i am kindaaaa wanting to buy a set of retrofits off you because my gen 4 is fogging up and is bugging me. but i dont really want to fork out the money to do so.

I will be discontuining them shortly. The parts i get, i keep getting relays that are bad. Not worth my time or the customers hassle to deal with DOA parts.

just got off the phone with them. they have my rim and the guy sent me a picture of it. so at least they have it. it should be shipped out finally tomorrow!

cant wait to get them on my car

dude, at least they are communicating with you. from the sounds of it, someone down the line screwed up, and these guys are trying a good deal to fix it for you, so I would say you're pretty lucky. 1 month is not that bad a wait either. I know you're excited to get the rims on, but fixing problems like that, with a 5 day week and limited hours and shipping times, is real tough. So I think they did pretty well personally, and would be happy with them. Remember these guys have a life too. Try and look at their side. I've had worse experience than this, I can tell you it's not that bad. Can't wait to see em on though.

Yea i know it coulda been worse. But they didnt offer to ship out any quicker or anything like that. It was a simple mistake which prolly took place at the r1 warehouse since they boxed the wheels up. I hope it gets shipped out on tuesday. Im so excited to get them on already!!

couldnt be put any better i've ordered stuff and tryed to contact companys and never heard anything from them.. thankfully the parts showed up.. but still sucks that this happend to you man.. but it's not like your the only person that's ordered from them.

Yeah i know. It prolly wasnt even their fault.
Imjust waiting for them to ship which should be today.

ill have to check them out when you get them we'll meet at the lot or something do you have any interested people in your rims?

i had a few people but i have to wait till the new ones are on since the old ones are on the tires im using. so i have to get the old ones weighed so i can see how much itd be to ship.

I give ya A LOT of credit for dealing with this!!! But it will all be worth it in the end!!! A few weeks from now you will forget it and be loving the looks of the car!

o word that sounds good sucks to hear about the delay though ive been waiting for the text or pictures to come up haha but i got my tpms from that website and put in for $80 from adirondack and i have had no problems yet... i did a tire learn and they work great so thanks for helping me out
