Hey there glad to be here. Got a 2008 LT gifted to me after a timing belt jumped. We fixed the belt hoping for the best but halfway through it the guy got tired of messing with it and gave me the car, lol. Anyways, got the chain replaced and did a compression test, got 170s in 3 holes and 65 in one. So figured a valve got a little bent. Debating on just driving it or taking it back apart and replacing the valves. Figured I'd sign up to get some info and see what others thought.

Yeah, I'm expecting if the tensioner went and the timing chain jumped a...few...teeth, it probably put the valve into the piston and bent it, as you're thinking.

Even if its within spec, it's so far off from the other three, I think it's worth pulling the head and swapping the valve(s).

Don't blame you there in the least...that's not a small amount of work.
