New Glasspack

So i got a Purple Hornies glasspack from Flowtech, it has 2.25" inlet/outlet diameter and is a total of 24 inches long.

The plan is to simply replace the resonator with this, and cut the muffler out and run pipe in its place. Any estimations on how it would sound? Anyone see any problems with this? Or just any suggestions in general?

I see no problem in doing that.
not a fan of glasspacks but interested to see how it sounds

I think I would make the mods you want in steps. First replace resi with the glaspack and listen to it before you go into the muffler mod. You may want to stop after the resi replacement. If you don't and want more, continue on with the muffler mod. That would be the way I would do it.
I think all of us want to hear it, whichever you decide on...

Well I just installed the K&N short ram today, so I'll be posting a sound clip of the setup tomorrow.
the K&N sri is nice actually,I don't regret buying it.
i just put a thrush glasspack on my car yesterday. i welded it right to the flang in front of the resinator. and dumped it off to the side on the drivers side right in front of my rear tire. i got rid of the stock muffler and the rest of the exhaust section, and the resinator. i like the sound its really deep. not really canny. but my girlfriend HATES it.
