I see no problem in doing that.
I think I would make the mods you want in steps. First replace resi with the glaspack and listen to it before you go into the muffler mod. You may want to stop after the resi replacement. If you don't and want more, continue on with the muffler mod. That would be the way I would do it.So i got a Purple Hornies glasspack from Flowtech, it has 2.25" inlet/outlet diameter and is a total of 24 inches long.
The plan is to simply replace the resonator with this, and cut the muffler out and run pipe in its place. Any estimations on how it would sound? Anyone see any problems with this? Or just any suggestions in general?
