Hi all, im new to the forum obviously lol I have had two cobalts beginning with a 06 lt which I just parted with. I liked the vehicle so much that once I drove it into the ground so to speak I got another one shortly after. I now own a 05 LS coupe (with an interesting color scheme) with 112XXX on her. I am by no means a savvy car person, however, I am joining this forum to hopefully mould myself into one lol I plan on being active on the forum. I am a law student and my cobalts have been my first cars and I am proud of them! Looking forward to interacting.

Cheers,

Yeah the rockers could be in better shape for sure, my previous Balt (06) had similar issues with the rockers... any suggestions on preventing rust? Every time I clean them they seem to build back up in no time.. snow sure doesn't help and sadly do not have access to a garage :crying:

I would keep the stripes, pretty unique and I bet they cost over $500. But I know what you mean, you have to look at it everyday. I had similar stripes on my silver Silverado and hoped I would get accustomed or that they wouldn't get under my skin after a while, but alas on a bright sunny warm day I decided to see how hard it would be to peel these off and to my surprise they came right off, spun the truck around and left it in the sun for and hour and peeled that side too. These were a $700Cdn dealer option, it ripped me when I pulled them off but glad I did, I like the look better now eventhough it's just an other Silverado now.
