I have a 2008 LT that just tipped over 90K. A few weeks ago I noticed a creaking sound (from the rear suspension?) while accelerating from a stop. I didn't think too much of it at the time, but now it seems to be happening much more frequently. It happens anytime I accelerate (stopped or moving) and while driving over bumpy roads.

A friend of mine suggested it may some pivot points may just need grease or some bushings have dried out or hardened up from the weather getting colder.

Has anybody had this happen before?
What do you think of my friend's theories?

I'm sure you'll get great feedback from others on this forum. I just wanted to recommend that if you were to want assistance on working with a dealership on this concern, please contact GM of Canada at 800-263-3777.

All the best,
Sarah
