Okay, driving home today, never thought something like this would happen. About to take a corner, and my power steering, yet again(after supposedly fixing my problem), caused my steering to go nearly straight, and i ended up slamming into a guard rail with the passenger side of my car. Oh the humanity!

man that sucks. Sorry to hear about it.
yeah, my grandma is gonna do some research on the issue, and maybe file a class action lawsuit against GM for the lack of reliability that the cobalt has. Yes there are cars out there that are running good, but i have had to spend(with warranty parts), about $7000 Canadian, just to end up in a guard rail? All my family and friends saw the car afterwards, and were surprised the air bag didnt deply, and were glad to hear that i wasnt seriously injured. Now we are concerned for my aunt, uncle and my 2 year old niece, cause they drive an 07 LS, and we dont want the same thing happening to them. It's a toss up as to whether the insurance company calls my ride a write off or not, but i know this much, my trust in new GM cars has been seriously thrown off due to this incident.

That sucks to hear that. Glad to hear that you werent injured in this mishap. Cars can be replaced, lives arent that easy. I hope everything gets taken care of for you.

And i thank yourcobalt.com. Because of the forums, we have written proof that there has been more than one case of this issue, and something that would stand up in court.

Seems that the quality of these cars depends on which day of the week they came off the assembly line? My '05 hasn't had any major issues (knock on wood) other than the known with the A/C wiring harness and the key occasionally getting stuck in the ignition, since I bought it, and currenly have over 96,000 miles on it...'05 LS sedan with auto.

How many miles does your car have on it? Most of the problems ive heard of happen below 25K. I dont think ive many at less than that.
about 25k miles, it's just over 50k kms

get a cool car. trackers FTL
my dad had one, and i had a blast with it. I dont want anything that may cause me issues(aka: speeding tickets, stunting). And besides, the tracker is a 4 cylinder fuel efficient 4x4. I am looking at Jeep YJs as well
