I changed out my lower control arms and had to remove the outer tie rod on each side. I didn't realize the was a nylock thread until it was already off. I was going to use one from ACE but im afraid it might not be as strong as the oem.

I got some stainless steal locking washers and some blue thread locker and used that. .. and torqued properly. Is this a good alternative? Or is it better to get one of these original nylock nut. Auto parts store didn't carry it but maybe dealer will.

I figured though blue thread locker and the locking washer would probably be better than just nylock anyway. I marked them with white out to look for movement.

What do you guys think?
