In theory more area for sparking and better fuel burning, and also in theory less chance of fouling.

All depends on the quality of the plug to begin with and condition of the engine. In my opinion a standard plug of good to high quality is good enough for a street car with an engine in good shape.

Don't even bother. The Ecotec will run like crap with those. If you're stock or lightly modified, AC Delcos are the best option. If you're heavily modded, NGK's only. Anything else is usually problematic.

What engine do you have, are you running forced induction...etc. I only reccommend the NGKs if you need to run colder plugs for high boost.

The multi point plugs started out in mass with the Split Fire many years ago. They were very sought after, and logically it always sounded like they would work great. I have tried many of them from the Split Fire to the E3, and none ever worked as good as stock. In fact I ran the newer E3 in a car for a month, pulled them out and tossed them in the trash. I have never seen anyone really get measurable gains AND sustained performance from any multi point plugs.

The best really do seem to be the Delcos or the NGK IMHO.

Yep. Plus anyways, the A/F mix is volitile anyways, so it only takes one spark to perfectly ignite it.
