So i decided to paint my trim but some how, it didn't come out how i would have liked it to... the color is good, but there are some blemishes and spots that could be smoothed out. What is the best grit wetsanding maybe that you guys would recommend to smooth it out, or should I just repaint everything?

A good 1500 and then some rubbing compound to bring it back to shine should help alot. maybe another coat.

its like somewhat dumpy too, idk I am curious if it would work or not, I think something hit while it was drying. I might have to do it again.

Well then just give it a light sanding with some 1000 grit, then do another coat of so. Should fill in well. Does it have the "orange peal"effect?
