does anyone know how to remove the valve cover on an 07 cobalt since its different from the 05-06 models?
get a serivice manual.
but im going to say (without ever doing it) in no particular order...
remove coil packs *code them some how* ,plugs, untorque the nuts oppositely and evenly, and remove vacuum lines as needed. then cover to keep s*** out.
anyone feel free to correct me, im just guessing.

According to the Haynes manual Scagnetti is right, just take the stuff off and mark any items. Reinstall and torque fasteners to proper specs.

What about doing the valve cover in carbon fiber? I think that it would look freakin awesome!

High heat engine enamel will do just great. As in for taking it off... take off coil packs, remove bolts and take it off, no need to take the spark plugs out.

Yeah, valve cover doesn't get that hot anyway so it's not like you need some 1200 degree withstanding paint :p
