2010 Cobalt LT, and for the first 6 years no problem but this year the car started with water pooling in pasenger floor, from evaporator. Drips from the bottom of the blower motor, since it is on the very bottom, but Im sure it collects from above evap. I sucked out the drain tube in engine bay, which is so short- just a stub sticking out.

What is it with these cars? I own so many cars never had this happen with any of my other cars/vans. Feeedback appreciated.

Yeah somehow stuff makes it by the cabin air filter if it isn't installed correctly and of course when you put the filter in you have no way of knowing if it's in there right. Mine, it was pine needles that would make it by and a few bugs. The last few filters seem to work better, the ones with the foam on the edges.

Thanks, Coby. So, whats the big deal with these paper filtrers anyway? My older cars dont even have one and they never had this problem. Can I just remove the filter and see what happens? What do you think? Im willing to try ANYTHING as it is better than a flooded floor.

Im sure I slid that new filter the right way, but who knows.

Even will drill some holes in the bottom (car floor), although it wont help the blower motor much from getting constantly wet/rusted.......

Same issue too! But I also have condensation forming at the bottom of the windshield on even slightly humid days. My only option seems to be turning the heater up, but who the hell wants to do that in summer??? Flippin frustrating!
