That's nice.
I loving seeing ones that people build.
I'd love to do a water cooling one. But worried about leaks.
I'll get pics of the one i built last year when i get off work.

I'm sure your like me and won't buy a off the shelf pc unless it's a laptop.
For me if it's a desktop it's parts from newegg.

exactly. but as long as you take your time and do it right, the only risk is a failing pump (knock on wood!). but the risk is the same as a failing cpu fan.

it may almost be cheaper now than before, but it's a lot more fun for me at least. plus this way I can just upgrade a part at a time to keep up with the times.
