I've seen this car on sale over a year ago for over 7000, look how much he wants it now.. I want to buy that thing so badly if the carfax checks out, problem is its too tight for me to make an investment like that. My job just isnt stable enough right now, such a sweet car though. Really disgusted at my self for not having an extra 1-2 grand right now, I'd buy it instantly..

This would be such a steal if the engine needed less than 2k in work... Would make a fun project too, but its not the time to buy:evil:. Not to mention I just dented/ scratched the Balt so I have to take care of that first.

Yeah the 305s are kind of restricted with the bores, they don't really have crazy potential.

I mean, I'm not crazy about any of them iron block engines, if it was up to me- I'd probably sell the engine that came with it and put that cash towards a lightly used LS1 to drop in. Man oh man would that be a sick third gen :amuse:.

Of course theres also the fact that I don't have any buddies with a shop or engine crane- actually I do have one . My school also has an auto shop, I've been meaning to check as to what they do for student's rides. But if the body is nice with good paint and no major imperfections, thats a steal right there for that kind of cash.
