i know this probably isnt the right forum for this, but i wasnt sure which one to put it in. i have a 2005 ss. about a week ago i was driving to work and went over a set of rumble strips in front of a redlight and when i did my power steering went out, my cruise control also went out. i replaced the fuse for it, and it started working again. but everytime i went over those rumble strips it blew. i was just wondering if anybody else has had this problem, or if anybody knows whats wrong and the best way to fix it. i figured it was just a short in a wire or something, but i have no clue where to start looking. any help would be greatly appreciated

Ummmm.... What are rumble strips???
rumble strips are little white strips that they put in front of redlights around here, i guess in case you fall asleep or something, and kinda shakes the car enuf to wake you....lol

but i dunno what the deal with it is...

yeah, thanks alot for that, lol.

I had a power steering failure to my car due to a few pinched wires. So here are a few curiosity questions i am asking you:

Was any major service done to your car just before these issues started occuring?

is it an intermittent problem(only occuring every so often, or it just drops right off)?

You say it only does it going over a specific set of rumble strips, would it do it over any rough surface?
