I am considering buying ksport lowering springs off of never enough auto and I was wondering what everyones opinion on them are. I know most people recommend ebiach but anyone that has ksport what is the ride like and pics of the drop from them and my biggest question is do you need to make shock limiting straps for them because i heard that with a few brands of springs that if you dont have them the springs are able to just fall out when you put it up on jacks to change a tire or what not
Lots and lots of good info. I'm thinking about Ksport springs also, but im still considering my options. But that forum has plenty of info for springs from people with them.
that looks about perfect but my biggest question is will i need to add shock limiting straps i know i should get fe5 shocks and struts but i don't have that much money to blow right now
You will be fine for a while on stock struts, its hard to give an estimate because idk what condition yours are in now, you could probably go a year or so with them though.
I never heard of shock limiting straps before but whatever they are you dont need them.
well my shocks and struts are in decent shape only 30xxx miles on them and the shock limiting strap is put on so the stock shock wont let the lower springs fall out when you hit a bump. there is a diy on here about them
No you dont need them with these. If your jacking your car up really high a lot them I guess it might come in handy but other wise I wouldnt bother with it. They dont seem expensive or hard to make so if you do have troubles it wouldnt be hard to craft one up.
i got the k sports from never enough about 2 weeks ago and so far i love em, the ride isnt bad and the car looks great and for 126 dollars, its not too pricey either
Imo, you're not going to be able to tell a difference between ksport and sportline. I have sportlines. They are low, my ride is shit, and they make my car look like sex.
I am taking my Ksport lowering springs off this week. Only had them on for 5,000 miles, too many potholes in Pittsburgh to dodge. Willing to sell them for $100 and will throw in camber bolts for free. Lemme know if anyone is interested.
My front end is a bit tore up from scraping, granted I only went with the KYB shocks & struts, but if you do 95% of your driving IN the city, not the burbs, and never take your foot off the gas, things like that are gonna happen I guess. Speed limits are meant to be broken, no?
Sorry guys, didn't have access to the net the past few days, and the guy at the shop gave me a few bucks and store credit because his friend wanted the springs. Will make sure not to post before I have the parts back home next time, sorry for those that were interested.
ksport are really good just put mine on 2 days ago and loving them
