Anyone drive their car in the rain with the CAI pipe running down next to your passenger tire or just run the short ram in the rain??? wandering if it might suck up water

it's been raining quite a bit here lately, and i haven't noticed anything. as far as i know, unless you submerge it under water, you should be ok.

if you have any worries get the injen hydro shield that slips right over your filter. It repells any water and one of my friends wrapped the shield around his hand and submerged it into a pot of water for like 5 sec, and his hand was still completely dry. I have a hydro shield and it works GREAT! gives me peace of mind

Unless you submerge the filter you do not have to worry about hydrolock. Simply splashing water on the filter will not hurt anything. So I say just use the cai and enjoy. Just don't drive through large puddles of water.
