So i install a set of rear speakers on my coupe ! You know a good acceptable set of Xplods 6x9. But they rattle too much. So i tough it was the speakers! took them out and stall them on an Eclipse... they worked fine took them back and intall them back on my balt... I EVEN BOUGHT THOSE SOUND MATS THINGS FROM BESTBUY!! but still rattleing... And still havent be able to figure out where is it coming form....

Is it possibly the deck lid that covers the rear speakers and are all of your screws tight ?

i have the same issue, its just the speaker rattling because you have metal on metal. I havent tried yet, but I plan on just taking out the speaker and running some silicone around where the speaker sits so that it has some cushion there.

Thats a good idea or put some foam or cardboard around the edges ?

I got some round thick foams to put around it between the speaker and the lid but still yet to try it...hope that works i mean wut elese do u guys know that gets rid of vibrations?
