I was wondering if there is a made tire out there for our cars that's real meaty like you see on jeeps but smaller just for our cars? Lol just a random question I don't wanna get stuck in the snow cause of tires lol
Ive never used them but my friends have and they seem to like them in the snow and ice. I wonder if they sell them for Cobalts tho. Im too poor for sets of tires so I just rock all seasons and slide around in the winter lol
Those tires are winter forces. Made by Firestone. They're supposed to be great when they're new. But we had a lot of ppl come back to get other tires on the second winter of driving.
In this Province, it's illegal not to have dedicated winter tires from December 15th to March 15th. All seasons won't cut it, and if you need to make a claim, insurance won't pay out plus you'll get a fine for not having winter tires. Serious business.
I've used studs before...
They're illegal in a lot of states.
they definitely help on the car.
I currently have 205 55 17 glacier grips, all terrain tires, extremely meaty.
i run these in the winter on the stock steel wheels. i like them alot i'm on my 3rd winter with the same set. they preform pretty well here in kentucky which gets a little bit of all kinds of weather in the winter
