the door panals are helfd on like eveything else, with those really strong metal clips. You can jus start at the top corner, closst to the rear view mirror, and just yank the shit out of it and it will come off. If you really worried abouit breaking anything(i doubt anything will break) you can go individually and pop out each clip with a fl;at head screwdriver. But it really is that easy to take them off.

Use long necked neddle nose pliers. Thats what I was on those clips, and they slide right on out. No damage to nothin'.

Start at the bottom and make sure you remove the 2 screws in the door handle pull area.

Be careful cause if you just YANK them off you will break something..

I had trouble getting the clip in the back, it's sorta tough to get to. Mostly be careful with yourself, I slipped off the clip A LOT (I was using a machinist's tool basically like a big dentist thing) so I almost stabbed my eyes out. HAHA But now that I know what to do it's all good! Just remember where the arm was when you take it off... uh... thats all I can think of.

Ok well here you go, since I have crank windows too, I can answer this one...

First thing you do is gently use a flat head screw driver to pry the crank handle just slightly out. DO NOT try to just pop it off... When you look down in between the gap there should be a little wire c clamp with it's opening towards the nob. Your objective is to remove that c-clamp and the window crank handles should come right off... then follow the same procedures everyone else stated to get the rest of the panel off...

Now, there are several ways to go about getting that clamp out... Honestly I haven't figured one out that's worth mentioning, this is a head-ache and a pain in the ass, the best of luck to you!

ok... didn't see the post before mine... Clamp = Clip btw... lol

theres a simple tool i found at auto zone to get that c clamp off. it was really cheap. i'd just go to your local auto parts store and ask someone there to help you find a window crank removal tool

ya i use these clip removers everyday the are the sh** but the easiest way to get it back on is to slide the clip into the crank handle that comes off the door first. clip it in all the way like it was going to be locked back on. then line up the crank handle were you want it and give it a good frim slap it will pop right back on.

btw when you take the clip off put you hand behind were the clip come out because it pops off at about 100mph.

Or you guys could save yourselves a huge pain and alot of time and get a ten dollar clip tool. Things go much smoother when you have tools actually made for the task you're trying to accomplish.

Lol, I'm pretty sure that's what the last few posts were about, and I didn't even know there was a tool for it until now really...

Yea it looks like a regular screw driver only the head in slightly angled and theres a v shaped cut in the middle of the head that varies in size depending on the clip your fighting lol.

on a semi-related question, can someone tell me if the door lock thingies just screw off or are they part of a bigger piece inside the door?
