I am considering replacing the seats in my daughter's 2007 Cobalt with some out of a salvage yard. I am wondering if there is anything I need to be aware of when doing so.

My daughters car is a 2007 2 door and I think the donor car is a 2008 or 2009 2 door.

Is there any issue with airbags in the seats....I didn't think there were any in my daughter's car but I know some cars have them in the seats. Also the seats are not power anything but are there any other wires going to the seats to be aware of?

Any advice on swapping out seats would be appreciated. Thanks.

No airbags in the seats - just a weight sensor in the passenger seat bottom which plugs into a harness coming out of the floor. I think there is one under the drivers' seat as well, for the seat belt - been a while since I've had my seats out.

But they're incredibly easy to get out. Two 15mm bolts in the back and they slot into the floor up front. Should be an easy swap.
