i was doing some looking around.. and i cant decide if i should do a resonator... anyone know the pros and cons?

I had mine deleted when I had my custom exhaust put on.

i had mine taken off my old car it just made it a little louder. i guess that depends on the car and it helps with emmisions but i moved to a new county so i dont have emmisions any more

No it doesn't.. its purely for sound..

as was said before, it really depends on the car. balts sound alright without one but some cars sound like complete s***. my civic went from a pretty deep tone to this gross higher pitch tone and popped horribly. I'd say keep it but thats just me

well i decided against it anyways.. its not worth the hassle.. but thanks for everything guys =) haha

i just got my new custom exhaust made, 2.25 inch piping from the downpipe to the muffler, the resonator just got deleted and its sounds pretty good now

yeah i wanna redo mine with 2-1/2 lol but i wanna get headers first so i can do it all at once =)
