The bottle usually will say it is safe for tinted windows right on it.

Tint Cleaner

Just had my windows tinted two days ago with 3M tint. Instructions are,, 1) DO NOT clean inside of windows for at least 30 days. 2) Use a soft cotton cloth (no paper towels) to wipe and 3) NEVER use cleaner containing AMMONIA or products containing VINEGAR. Says these products will eventually destroy adhesive.

I use the Mothers window cleaner on my windows, and use newspaper to clean them with. Did this on all three of my cars and never had a problem. It also depends on what kind of window tint you have tho. If you use cheap tint, you're eventually gonna have problems with the tint, no matter what you use to clean them.

I don't trust any cleaner on tinted windows. I just use a bit of water and maybe a mild soap solution there is a bad spot. So it's almost like I avoid cleaning them unless I have to. Just didn't want to run the risk of damage it or scratch it up. You may not see it once or twice, maybe after the 20th time.

again, if you use a "tint safe" cleaner and have good window tint, there won't be any problems. I had my Cavalier windows tinted for almost three years, and washed them atleast once a week, twice a week during show season, and never had a problem with the tint. My friend that bought the car after me has had it for another couple years and still has never had a problem with the tint

i always use just mild soap and water wiping with newspaper. I hear windex and other cleaners can cause some tints to turn different colors

i work at a car wash and we use mr magic window cleaner on pretty much every car that gets the ultimate car wash which includes spraying the inside of windows and the dash and all that. so i guess that stuff is pretty good. i have a can of it in my car and ill look and see if it says anything about tinted windows.

its not a spray well it is but it comes out as foam
