I'm doing out put shaft seals on my 05. I started with the driver side. The big seal came out easy but the small seal on the shaft is stuck. I can't get it to budge. Every video I watched shows it pull right out but mine

if I remember when i did mine that splined shaft should come out. It's about six inches give or take, connects the cv joint to the differential. looks like this.

The seal you're trying to take out may be a repair sleeve, this.

pull out the stub shaft/output shaft is what rock auto calls it, then press off the repair sleeve if it's too damaged and get a new one. It's a very tight fit, have to be careful putting new one on. And if the seal you bought did not come with that, I'm not sure about all the sizing and compatablility of repair sleeve and seal.
