they sound sick as hell and i was wondering why the cobalt doesn't have one on the turbo edition

Our cars don't need a vented to atmosphere blow off valve. The stock bypass valve is good enough until we go bigger turbo. Some people put a blow off valve on anyway, like me. Good luck if you decide to do it though. I've heard some horror stories with them. You should get tuned for it if you decide to go vented to atmosphere.

i want one because it sounds sick as hell, but i can't find much information on them and i'm not car savvy, i just know the basics. does it add any hp?

Ah, its one of those- that thing is so cool so why doesn't it come stock on our car threads..

No, it won't add any horsepower. I really kind only got mine because I got a great deal on the charge piping and blowoff valve together. It is fun though.
