Hi all,
I'm new to the Cobalt modding scene, but last year I purchased a 2010 Cobalt LT2 which did not have OnStar or XM Radio installed in the vehicle. Fast forward a year later and I really want to get satellite radio. I've looked around and found some kits such as Pac-Audio.com Product Details | iPod Integration for your car and More by Pac-Audio - Connecting you to the future which specifically say they are incompatible with the Canadian version, SCC-1C.
Looking further, I learned of the SIR-GM1, but reading about it, it seems that the wiring changed in some vehicles and others got the lan-bus system installed.
Does anyone have any experience installing either Sirius or XM satellite radio modules in a 2010 Cobalt? I seem to always run into a wall when researching.
To be clear, the radio itself has the CAT button when pressed it says "XM Only Feature", stock head unit in Canadian Cobalt LT2 2010. Thanks
