well... sometimes if the shop is real dead the corprate guys at chevy will pay someon to come in and tell us what to look for so we can sell stuff better...

and today they did just that

they brought us 2 gmc 2500's with 100,000 miles on them...

truck A.. had its oil changed every 3 K... full syntec for 100'000 miles

truck B had reg oil changed every 10% on the gadge

the motor in truck B was a block of sludge tho it still ran it was much less efficent then truck A

truck A's engin looked like it had just been rebuilt... it was THAT CLEAN
ran like a too... no shakes like it just come off the line


yet another reason to change yer oil evey 3K

wow lol but i thought synthetic u can do 5k
but if your using that truck as it should be used then changing the oil more often is a great idea.

speak of the devil (in a way) my dad has a 2005 GMC 2500HD

Yes, like the experts say, oil is cheap engines are not. And you get what you pay for. I always use full synthetic to reduce the demand for real oil.
I was watching a show and the show said that if 10 percent of America would start using full synthetic, the demand for real oil would decrease by 10 million barrels a year.

yeah ive always done it every #k... i run royal purple in my camaros < and its not cheep... but as im finding out now with one of my firebirds... neither is a mtoor lol
