So after lowering my car my steering got kinda loose. It's slowly gotten worse so now when I'm stopped the steering wheel can move freely about a quarter inch or so without any resistance whatsoever. My question is how can I fix this? Will steering rack spacers help?

I'm ashamed to say I wasn't the one that installed them. I went back and checked the strut bolts just in case though way back when I got the car back and they were tight
