so i bought a st of 5/8s spacers for my cobalt lt. this spacer set slips over the original lugs and puts 4 new ones out. unfortunatly the factory lugs portrude far enough out that i cant put my rims back on when installed. would i be half or fully retarded to cut the stock lugs back a 1/4 length with a sawzall?

Put your lugs on first, that way when you cut it, the backing off of the lug nut will re-open the thread instead of stripping the whole thing to crap
