I hate to sound like a dumb girl, but I guess in this case it's inevitable...anyway, how do I find out what type/size my front door speakers are? I would like to replace them but I have no idea what I have now. They are the originals that came in the car when I bought it. Any help out there?
Go to "crutchfield.com" and look-up items for your car. They're awesome at asking/adding all the "extra parts/pieces" needed to replace speakers/audio. In addition to speaker adapters, you'll nee a wiring adapter and tools/talent to remove all your interior panels. Some can be tricky, but looking at it like a puzzle helps. Crutchfield also sends instructions/guides to assist.
Did my daughter's entire stereo (head unit & speakers) for a shade over $200. Not a "ear thump'n/window shak'n" system, but 1000x better that stock.
X2 about crutchfield. best customer service you can find.
