i own a ford zx2, and i have been looking around for a new spoiler to replace my crappy surfboard type stocker when this one caught my eye.

i was just wondering if anyone could give me some measurements on it (length tip to tip, and pillar to pillar mainly, and height).

weird. i swear ive seen this on 10+ different websites for sale as a cobalt spoiler. ive seen pics of different cobalts wearing it. are they just duplicate parts, or have enough cobalt people just gotten the same idea i have? lol

idk, looks pretty much the same to me. i really can't tell, i think its a scion tc spoiler and some companies might be selling it as both a TC spoiler or an "aftermarket" cobalt coupe spoiler. i just know they look a lot a f*ckin like

Will do it tomorrow, just send me a pm so i dont forget.
thanks man. i went on a scion tc forum and asked the same thing, 3 of them told me to gtfo because i didnt have their car, so i shouldnt be bothering them with my "slow escort". i pointed out that they had factory-riced camry coupes, and that my "slow escort" would mash their nuts in autoX or a straight line non-turbo. lol. glad to see you guys arent ****s.

^^^HAHAHAHAA wow. yeah YC is a really cool place. when I first saw this thread I was what? that's weird. but it doesn't matter, cars are cars and what's the point in being retarded over different ones.

yup. people with regular escorts and all sorts of mazdas(escorts are mazda platform) come through zx2 forums occasionally. they are 10-15 year old cars with good tuning potential and virtually no aftermarket. most of the other spoilers i looked at, i found measurements online, just not this one.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it won't be a direct fit. GM and Ford don't really design their stuff to work on their competitor's vehicles.

That being said, you can modify the trunk and spoiler base to fit the escort.

i know. i will just treat it like any universal fit spoiler, and as such i will be sanding the base to match the curve of my trunk, and drilling new holes. a good number of the people on the teamzx2 forum have put celica spoilers on...this shouldnt be any harder
