7/31/2010 - It begins:

8/1/2010 - Day 2:

Painted the K&N Intake, triple gauge pillar and wideband gauge trim:

Intake before:

Intake After One Coat:

Intake Finished:

Pillar and Gauge. Pillar was extremely shinny. Not anymore :) Middle gauge had silver trim. Now it's black:

This week after work, I plan on painting the supercharger, LSJ Throttle body (once it arrives), Fuse Box Cover and possibly my valve cover.

8/2/2010 - Day 2

Got home from work and noticed I has an LSJ TB waiting for me. So I painted it:

8/10/2010 - Day 10
After I throughly cleaned and sanded the blower, I laid down the red base coat:

After it dried, I masked off the areas I wanted to remain red:

Then I laid down the black coat and then the clear coat:

Going on vacation tomorrow but the build will begin on the 17th.

Looks sweet. Good luck, it's an easy swap.

Well it's all in minus the oil catch can and the rerouting of the washer fluid line (sensor swapped just need longer washer fluid line to run from driver's side to the passernger's side.

Got a couple of issues to work out, i.e. car starts but instantly dies. Scan tool is showing that it's the TB.

DIC also reads "Engine Power Reduced"

Hopefully we figure it out soon.

You did the install? Who tuned it?

How did you wire the throttle body?

Shit that's cool - I bought a 8-pin bigtail and wired it in there.

Okay, so it should be wired correctly...perhaps it's defective? I doubt that...

That blower looks real nice!

Vince is the man when it comes to tuning these beasts.
