Hello all. Just bought a 2005 Cobalt last week. Today it was a bit cold and driving to work I noticed that when I shifted into forth it would squeak. So I stopped and same thing. Also found out it does it when putting it into reverse as well. Sound seems to come from shifter and otherwise it shifts fine.

I also get the same sounding squeak under the car on driverside when going over bumps. Same sort of sound but from different place.

Is this something I should be concerned about? Known issue? I searched site and did not really find much relevant.

The Squeak is like maybe a rubber or plastic on metal sound maybe? Does not seem forced in and slides in fine. I will try to get a video after work of it and post it on here.
