Does anybody else's steering column squeak when it gets cold? Just annoying! Sounds like wet rubber.

hit it... then it stops for a bit... lol




but seriously, the squeaks are a common complaint and there really isnt a way around it.. its just a cheap interior

Fixed it. At the firewall there's a rubber boot that covers the actual column, I pushed the boot down a bit and sprayed some teflon lube where the column enters the boot. No more annoying noise. Thank God, or Ala or Budda or whomever is politically correct today.:bigsmile:

Noise was only there when rapidly turning the wheel like when you parallel park or do a stop to stop turn.
