What all is needed to convert? is it worth it over repainting damaged doors?

I know I'd have to drill the hole for the window crank and door lock. I'd have to cut the tweater off.

lastly I'd have to either make a black (or yellow) plastic piece that goes around the door handle to cover where there should be electric controls. Or just swap out my inserts in place of.

my painted doors looked good for about a week, but wear and tear on spray paint is becoming evident and looks like crap. so I'm either looking to really tear it apart and give it another go or just buy new doors and call it a day.

You could do that or leave the controls in place but wire them to control fog lights or other accessories. It the proper placement of the hole for the window crank that would be the issue.

lol, it would be fun until someone borrows the car and shoots nitrous at the wrong time.

"I was just trying to lower the windows than BAM, the engine explodes when I was at a stop light..."
