Hello:

I have a chevy cobalt 2006 and the light from the seek (up and down) button on the steering wheel is broken.

Is there a fuse for such button light? Maybe I have to replace a LED?

Or is that something that can only be fixed at the dealership?

Thanks,
Roberto

Well you could DIY but it may may not the same exact color Idk.. but I have been changing all mine to blue HVAC gauge cluster doors gear shifter slowly. But you should be able to find a bulb to match the same color.

It wouldn't be your fuse unless the rest of the steering wheel illumination is down.

You have 3 options to remedy your situation:
Find a trim piece at a scrap yard. Might cost you $5-$10
Solder in a new bulb yourself (or pay someone, but not worth it to do that IMO)
Buy a new trim piece for that control. GM Parts Direct sells those for about $12-$14 plus shipping.
