DC Sports CS-1 Front Upper Strut Bar 05-06 Chevy Cobalt : eBay Motors (item 350338998074 end time May-09-10 18:53:40 PDT)

I got one for 69.95 shipped on ebay it was used but only for like two months or something he was buying a new car and it was perfect. But I don't think you will find that though.

I mean I don't really know lol The wheel stays straight now it pulled to the left a little on the highway. I just put it on today so not really sure. I think if you do other mods like springs and shocks and sway bars it will be really good. I like it. I couldn't pass up that deal. I'm sure it works, I think it would work better with supporting mods. You gotta start somewhere right. I like how it looks to but thats not why I bought it didn't know how it would look. I bought it cause good deal alot of cars on here have them and it was a good deal and I am addicted to modding my car.

I think you should get it.

I agree, the difference you notice will prolly increase with supporting mods, and i know you just got those shocks and struts, along with your springs, once you get it all on the strut bar will be a nice addition. Im getting a strut bar soon once i get my springs

Not sure about those to be honest looked at those though and some like it there are some other cool ones you can put any word you want in the center of it on ebay to. If I had a ss I might would have got that one and put ss but I just took that deal couldn't pass up. Only thing I here is they are always back ordered not sure about on ebay though but those are cool. I was wandering witch is stronger?

Ya I saw your post the other day good to read your getting better and saw the springs and fe5 shocks and struts. I have sportlines let me know how the Fe5 struts, shocks are I want them really bad. Let me know how the handling difference is with all of that, and how they hold up.

Worthless.

Strut towers are so fully integrated into the firewall that this mod has no actual benefit.

Looks cool though.

just some FYI for all who want/have this. A Strut bar/brace does NOT increase handling in any way, and this has been proven. On older cars, yes, it helped quite a bit, but on the newer cars, you don't need them, and they are only put on for show. Only real bar/brace that helps out your handling is a rear sway bar. Just my $.02.

as per your question about fe5 suspension, I put my fe5 ss/Tc suspension on yesterday, with B&G lowering springs...the drop is amazing. I only drove it to the corner store and back but it was high speed road, and I took a few turns...wow is all I can say. Such a big increase in performance, and also accel. and stopping is much smoother since the springs are stiffer, which stops the car from bouncing during accel or stopping. Many, many pics taken, will make a new thread when the car is washed etc. PS, anyone, the drop increases how much when the suspension settles, and how long for settling to usually occur? thx.
