I just got a 2008 Chevy cobalt ls 2.2l and I installed new fuel and vent lines, but the fuel filter is inside the fuel tank and I world like to put it outside so it will be easy to get to. But no matter were I have looked for this info about what lines go were, there is nothing. Lots of pictures of the parts, but nothing on the fuel and vent lines connections diagrams to the fuel tank to the vapor canister to the fuel filter. Just a lot dummy pictures.

I had that system in my car and redesigned it, added a return port to the sender unit and used a corvette filter with the internal fuel regulator(like you use in an ls swap) the return from the filter goes back to the new port at the tank. all that is in the tank is the pump and sender. this allows 1 pressure line to the fuel rail and #30 goes to the canister. i did cut the old filter (37) open and found a very nasty fuel filter!
