Some instructions tell you to cut them.

30mm cut from the front

13mm cut from the rear.



This is not a debate on why cut them or not. I posted the pictures because everyone is always asking what they are and people never post pictures.

Cut pics removed...

wtf do bump stops do? obviously they bump and stop...

Bump stops limit suspension travel to some extent. They create a rapid but gradual deceleration of suspension components near the end of their maximum travel.

Cutting them allows some of the lower drop-springs to maintain a reasonable amount of suspension travel, but create a condition akin to increasing spring rates.

Nothing truly wrong with cutting them I'd like to apologize, as i'm sobering up a bit and realize my response was un-called for.

Nobody ever comes to an agreement about cutting/ not cutting bump stops.

Mike, take a pic if you can of what they look like while still installed..
because like me, i forgot to cut them while installing my sportlines...
SO i just cut them without even taking anything apart. yes, they were still on when i cut them. yes, it was a pain in the ass lol
