KBB assumes stock. So that may hurt slightly. Try 6000, but accept slightly lower if nobody bites.

would you be willing to return the car mostly to stock and sell off all the mods? (radio, subs, etc.) I did it with my civic, took me less then 1 weekend to return it to stock, then sold the civic, then sold the rest of the stuff for like an extra $500 (front lip, front grill, ebay projectors, stock tail lights)

none of your mods increase the value of your car. some actually decrease it. part it out, and sell it stock for 6k obo

A modded car will turn most poetential buyers away. Unless you can sell it to some teenager or something.

Yeah most people looking for a 4 door ls cobalt are not kids with $6,000. Its more like moms and dads looking for a 4 door family car. Once they see its lowered and has exhaust the first thing that comes to mind is oh so a kid ran the living hell out of it. Part it out or trade for stock parts then you could probably squeeze a sold $5 out of it... Thats my opinion though
