So my RPMs have been off the charts ( I posted about it already). But I recently cleaned my TB and now toouch air is making my RPMs and idle to hit 3000 everytime I step on my clutch. It's an 07' cobalt. So I looked at the butterfly plate on myTB and notice its a quarter open not evenly shut. Is this normal? If not, do ya think it could be the reason behind my RPMs going crazy? If so, how do I adjust it? Thanks

Most definitely, butterfly should be shut at idle. But since I don't know what you actually did when trying to clean your throttle body it is hard to propose a solution. Did you try pushing it shut?
